Laboratory of Biotechnological Applications

Director: Prof. Anna Brini

Chiara Giannasi, Ph.D.

Bio

Chiara Giannasi received the Master’s Degree in Biology Applied to Research in Biomedicine in 2009 and has currently completed her Doctoral degree (PhD) in Oral Sciences, both from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. During her PhD course, she attended the laboratories of prof. Anna Teresa Brini focusing her scientific interest on two main research fields: the study of the regenerative potential of Mesenchymal Stem/stromal Cells isolated from different anatomical sites (mainly adipose tissue and oral cavity) and the in vitro analysis of the pharmacological action of anti-resorptive drugs on primary cell cultures.
