Research Topics
Knowledge synthesis and translation (Systematic reviews, meta-analysis and meta-epidemiological projects)
Systematic reviews are known to be the best form of knowledge translation and their aim is to inform researchers, clinicians and patients about the evidence and promote changes in clinical practice, wherever required. Systematic reviews and meta-analysis are recognized by the scientific community to be the gold standard in demonstrating the efficacy of an intervention. We are interested in developing timely, comprehensive and accurate systematic reviews of medical literature, providing best and most reliable evidence for clinical decision making in rehabilitation and orthopedics. We are also interested in applying innovative quantitative methods (i.e. trial sequential analysis and network meta-analysis) to clinical problems, and explore if how these methods can add new knowledge to old problems.
