Bio

The entire university training course takes place in Spain, his native land: University Medical Studies in Granada, the Specialization in Madrid and the PhD in Salamanca. He began his clinical activity as an Orthopedic and Vertebral Surgeon in Madrid. Since 2003 he lives and works in Italy. Currently Director of the Division of Vertebral Surgery GSpine4 of the Orthopedic Clinic at the IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute of Milan, he also carries out his private activity at the Columbus Clinic Center in Milan, the Rome American Hospital, and in Locarno, Switzerland, plays the role of Head of the Spine Surgery Area at the Santa Chiara clinic. For years he has been invited as a consultant surgeon at the best national and international centers including: The Hospital Universitaire in Geneva, the Lindenhofspital in Bern, the Kantonspital in Sankt Gallen, the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna, the Gemelli Policlinico in Rome, the San Camillo Hospital in Rome, the Molinette Hospital in Turin, the Regional Center for Spine Surgery in Schio (Vicenza), the Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin, and the SM Hospital della Misericordia in Udine. An active member of the International Scientific Community: participates in the research and development of new techniques in minimally invasive column surgery, pioneer since 1996 in the use of microsurgical, thoracoscopic and laparoscopic techniques, percutaneous techniques for vertebro and kyphoplasty, since 2009 successfully applies the most modern minimally invasive techniques applied to complex procedures, including the XLIF technique for the treatment of low back pain, adult deformities, medullary compressions and stenosis.Continuing education support in Europe and in the United States, he teaches practical courses on anatomical models for Italian and foreign colleagues, receives training visits from Italian colleagues in Italy as surgeon’s training. Organize and guide as Chairman conferences, courses and international seminars. From 2011 Lecturer of the Japanese Orthopedic Association.
