Nicolo Cavalli
Bio
Dr. Nicolò Cavalli received his DDS degree in 2011 and a PhD degree in “Physiopathologic, Neuropyschobiological and Auxiliary Sciences of the Life Cycle” in 2015 from the University of Milan.
In 2016 he attended for 7 months the university dental clinic at the University of Vienna as scientific staff member and observer.
Since 2017 he works as Post-doc research fellow in the University of Milan and
he actively attends the Dental Clinic of the IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute directed by Prof. Luca Francetti, especially in the Periodontology and Oral Implantology Department.
He is the author of several scientific publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals, speaker at conferences and winner of several prizes for his scientific works.
His main research topics have been biomechanics applied to implant dentistry in cooperation with the Politecnico of Milan, full-arch implant-supported restorations, tilted implants, short implants, management of prosthetic complications, peri-implantitis, its epidemiology, surgical and non-surgical management and lately computer-guided implant surgery and digital dentistry.
